By using the DfE education record app, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Our responsibilities

This mobile application (app) is run by the Department for Education (DfE).    We aim to provide an app that is constantly available and virus free, with accurate and complete information.    

The DfE accepts no liability for:  

• the app being unavailable due to high demand or maintenance
• delay or failure when submitting or receiving data 
• indirect damages arising from you using the app or relying on its content 
• the content and availability of external websites that link to, or from, the app

Your responsibilities

As a user of the app, you must: 

• keep your mobile phone number to access the app confidential
• accept responsibility for all activities associated with the app 
• ensure that any personal data (as defined under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018) is protected, used only for the purposes for which it was obtained and disposed of appropriately 
• agree not to use the app for any illegal purpose
